Successful placements mark the first convocation at EBS
However, even before the convocation, early July witnessed some of the best pre-placement offers for the students passing out. This is hardly surprising, because EBS is anchored by the ERA Group, a billion dollar enterprise. Pre-placement offers that are pouring in for the EBS graduates range from a package of Rs. 3.95 lakhs per annum and go up to Rs. 6.60 lakhs per annum. Many deserving candidates also get absorbed into the ERA conglomerate, which handles projects across different verticals encompassing Power, Highways, and Railways (including Delhi Metro), Airports, Urban Infrastructure, Refineries and Industrial / Commercial and Residential complexes.
Era business school placements are among the best in the industry, and include names like Domino’s, DLF, Siemens, FIITJEE, India Bulls, Raymonds, ITC, Naukri.com, Just Dial, HDFC, NIIT, Pizza Hut, IFFCO, Bank of Maharashtra, SBI Card, NEXT and JK Tyres. Impacting the Era business school rankings nationwide, these placements have created a rich reputation for EBS.
The chief guest at the convocation, Mr. S. D. Sharma, former member of Indian Railway Board, felicitated the class toppers and addressed the students, stressing upon the importance of having focus in life. Mr. H. S. Bharana, CMD – Era Group, blessed the students and conferred the degrees on all outgoing students.
EBS believes in progressive education, and it seeks to continually motivate the students using several methods:
1. Deserving students, starting with the top scorers in MAT / CMAT / CAT, are given a scholarship worth Rs. 90,000.
2. The top 5% students in every class get a full tuition waiver.
3. Government, public sector, defence employees and their dependents are eligible for attractive scholarships.
Talking about his success, gold medalist Anil Sharma says, “EBS instilled in me a sense of confidence and made me believe that we are capable of more than we think we are. The support and guidance from the faculty and management helped me perform better.”
We recognize and welcome students who thrive on novel ideas, fast-paced learning and community commitments. We encourage participation in lively discussions, expression of thought and interactive communication in a highly verbal and multi-cultured environment, which leads to intellectual growth.
A globally-oriented educational institution, EBS is engaged in carrying forward the Era legacy of differentiation, to chart a new course in distinctive quality across the country’s educational roadmap.
Situated in the heart of the sprawling sub-city of Dwarka, New Delhi, EBS is spread out on a state-of-the-art Wi-Fi campus. The campus is equipped with all the modern facilities, including step-based, global video delivery enabled classrooms and well-equipped Information Technology and Communication Centre.
The key enablers of EBS’ unique approach lie in its Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) and Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), which provide academic and practical strength to the course curriculum. The EBS CRC is a powerful driver of practical training for the students, enabling their evolution into business leaders of tomorrow.
A well-designed Seminar Hall & Conference Hall, MDP Centre, aesthetically designed Cafeteria offering multi-cuisine meals, and a vibrant Recreation Zone make Era Business School a world-class knowledge hub.
About EBS: EBS offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme, with specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, International Business, Information Technology and Construction Project Management.
