The schools in Lucknow are affiliated to the state board, CBSE board or the ICSE board.

CBSE and ICSE both the schools are highly in demand in the city as both kinds of schools are fulfilling the purpose of education completely. They are dedicated and committed towards their responsibility of education. The best of these schools are St. Mary’s Day Inter College, Ghayasiban Public School, Diamond Public Higher Secondary School, Delhi Public School, S.D.S.N Public School and the list goes on.

St. Mary’s Day Inter college situated at LDA colony, Bangla Bazar is a co educational school that delivers education till class 12th (ISC). The school is affiliated to the ICSE board. DPS Eldeco is a co-educational school that prepares children to become broadminded, secular, progressive and modern citizens of the country ready to face the world in the days to come.

The school aims at reforming the future of the nation by ensuring the excellence in academics and dedication in the divine service. Each and every child had a liberty to be himself, choose a better and suitable career option for himself. No boundaries and pressures are put on them to fulfill the vision of the school, it provides an environment in which every student discovers and realizes his/her full potential.

One of the important goals of a school should be to help students acquire the knowledge, attitudes and skills needed to function effectively in a pluralistic democratic society and to interact, negotiate and communicate with people from diverse groups. A school, therefore, first needs to develop student's skills for knowing and appreciating their own culture in order to develop a sense of belonging while enabling integration and appreciation of other communities and the wider world. Schools can no longer work as ivory towers as before, they need to become bridges to the world outside.

There is no doubt in saying that the school consists world class infrastructure that doesn’t make life any easier for the child but only helps them in growing themselves as an individual. The highlights of the infrastructure are a well-designed building with operational academic blocks, administrative block and an activity block, Computer labs, Science labs, Language labs, Mathematics lab, Social Science lab and a Robotics lab. With sports being given prime importance, the school has a swimming pool; gymnasium, basketball court, tennis court and big playgrounds. The school also houses a huge auditorium. Luck now being a cultural city has a great impact of Indian values and traditions.
