A bachelor of education (BEd) course enables you to study for your degree and complete your initial teacher training at the same time. A BEd is an honours degree course in education. Course content may vary according to the university or college providing it, but all BEd graduates receive qualified teacher status (QTS) in addition to their degree. It is a popular choice for those who are interested in teaching primary school children, but it is also an option for anyone wanting to teach secondary. The Bachelor of Science and/with Education is a degree awarded to students who complete the four to five year course of study in the field of science (major and minor in biology, chemistry, physics, math) and Education, it is the combination of degree in science and education course(sometimes refer to double degree programs B.Sc + B.Ed = B.Sc.Ed). Although notionally B.Sc and B.Ed are two degrees, they must be taken together.

IGNOU B.Ed qualifies a student to become a teacher in a school. IGNOU B.Ed courses will be integrated with Information Technology and Computer Science to guarantee employment. B.ed also held Practical's in the schools and teacher training colleges/institutions indentified as Programme Centers. The practical courses consist of school-based, workshop-based and practice teaching. After completion of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) one can join as a teacher in primary or high school. IGNOU B.Ed is the preferred course by the many advancement. If you think you have the qualities to be a teacher, then move forward and complete a year's course on Bachelor of Education (B. Ed).
