Do Children of These Days Throw Tantrums?
What do you think about children whenever you see any? Whatever you think but it is for sure that you don’t compare them with somebody like Hitler or Gabbar Singh of our famous Bollywood. We all portray children as honest, innocent and almost angels of god. Like every day has a bright start and dark ending, some children also have a darker side and that is their bad temper. It looks weird when we see those traits in children. We also do not let our children mingle with such children much because we think our children we also start behaving like them. Is it the fault of the children who behave like this? How can it be because they learn what their parents teach them.
Parents of these days are so obsessed with their children that they don’t mind even if their children behave in an ill manner with them or others. In other cases, parents use some kind of punishment to make their child disciplined. Parents either don’t care how their children are behaving or when they notice they punish them for behaving like that. We should never forget that children are not very different from adults. Even they get frustrated on certain situations, and that is the period they should be tackled softly with ease because they don’t think practically like adults and often fail to overcome their problems.
Kids mostly show their anger when they are stopped from doing certain things like watching TV programmes that are not suitable for them, watch TV during study hours, playing during the study hours or meal time, buy the toys that they desire for and eating chocolates excessively. Annoyance among kids is normal and it takes place for different reasons. Kids get frustrated when they feel that their parents are not giving them enough attention. Comparatively grownup kids understand the busy schedules of their parents and also the situations.
They also understand that once their parents get free from their work, they will spend enough time with them. The Children don’t understand the same situations and get depressed when they don’t find their parents beside them when they need them. Many parents fulfill their childrens’ demands just to stop their tantrums for a while. They don’t realize what mistake they do by doing so. This way children make it a habit to burst out their anger when they don’t get anything they want. Initially they do it with their parents and slowly they do such things with others also.
This can be controlled only by the parents. It is in their hands only how to bring up their child. They can stop the children from throwing tantrums for unnecessary reasons. Parents should also try to spare some time from their hectic schedules and spend it with their children. This way children feel that their parents are behind them to give them support whenever they need it. It also helps parents to keep a track over their child’s every step and also builds a strong bonding between the children and their parents.
