Noida also has industrial parks like, Cochin Special Economic Zone and Infopark.Cochin is administered by the Corporation of Cochin. The city name Cochin was supposed to be taken from the Malayalam word which means ‘small lagoon’. Even in the ancient time, Cochin was the city of trading spices to other lands. According to the historians the city got incepted as early as in the twelfth century.Cochim is home to the Cochin Stock Exchange and is also known as the commercial capital of the city.

This rapidly developing city has many small, medium and large scale industries. It is also emerging as an IT city of the country. In the past few decades, Chennai has emerged as an education destination, as the city has founded and established some of the top notch education institutes in the city.
