Studying medicine and becoming a doctor is a dream come true for the students as well as for the parents. The parents are the happier lot as they can now proclaim that they wards are studying to be doctors, which gives them immense pride. During the studying of the course, the students have to take a lot of trouble in the long years of college, but all of these efforts pay in the end when they come out being successful in their lives. The students need to appear in the DPMT or Delhi Pre-Medical Test, before they get admitted into the courses in the colleges and hospitals. Every year, the exam is held in the month of April/May and the successful candidates are given admission in the MBBS and BDS courses in the colleges of their choice according to their rankings in the qualifying examination.

Proper application process – For success in any entrance test, which also applies for Delhi PMT, students have to first fill in the application and send it to the conducting body. The right figures and information are to be provided in the form, so that they are not disqualified. The dates are to be remembered for the exam date, in order to sit for the exam on the stipulated date.

Thorough preparations – Since the competition is going to get tougher by the year, the aspirants for MBBS seats in University of Delhi, should make a sincere effort to go through the syllabus so as to cover every topic with thoroughness. Leaving out any topic from the course, which usually is limited to physics, chemistry and biology, can be a risk for sure success. Various books are to be referred and previous year questions are required to be solved.

Consistent practice -Another means by which the students can ensure their success in DPMT is by practising and solving previous year’s questions within the stipulated time. This allows them to have a feel of the actual exam and gives them confidence to attempt all the questions. Getting most of the questions right should be the aim of people and this is possible only if they know about the various topics and are able to finish within the allotted time.
