There are many people that visit Javea from Alicante in Spain. The reason is that it is a beautiful place located only at a distance of eighty kilometers from Alicante. The exact location of Javea is between Altea and Denia. These two places are also worth exploring in Spain. Great thing about Javea is that it is situated on Costa Blanca which makes it a great looking holiday destination.

One of the reasons of fame of Javea is its port. There is a fishing fleet on the port of Javea which is serving great in providing fresh fishes. For the same reason there is a great fish market available on the same port. There are also some restaurants in the area that offer tasty sea food as well as some great views of the sea.

A great aspect about Javea is that it’s a historical place. There is a church present with the name of San Bartolome Church that belongs to the twelfth century. This church was damaged in the times of Spanish civil war but the authorities have renovated it well even today. Similarly there is an old quarter in the area worth exploring because it shows the history of the place. The famous Sole Blasco Museum is also present in Javea which is considered a treasure itself. There is a historic area in the town with the name of Partida Roig.

An auspicious place in Javea is Church of Calvario. It is having great structure from inside as well as from outside. There are some fascinating gardens around this church from where the breathtaking views of the sea are available. It is very much easy to approach this place in Spain. A fine highway runs along the Costa Blanca on which it’s located. This is a fine highway having lots of exciting restaurants, shops and towns located in it.

The best time to visit Javea is the month of September. The reason is that there is a fiesta in Javea in which bulls run and lots of people come to enjoy the fiesta. Similarly March is another good time for visiting this place as the famous Baixada festival is held in this month. In the month of December there is a famous festival by the name of Santa Llucia. The temperature in Javea remains warm usually. It has an average temperature of around 20 degrees which makes it pleasant mostly.
