Vidhadhar Garden was constructed in honor of the planner of the city of Jaipur, who was Vidhadhar Bhattacharjee.

Till today, this garden is one of the most magnificent gardens, and as well this is one of the best preserved gardens in the city of Jaipur. The garden is entirely filled with beauty. This garden was created in a much planned manner. Plans of the Vidyadhar Garden were made following the norms of the ancient Indian architecture. The person to whom this was dedicated was the planner of the city of Jaipur, and when this garden was being created the same rules of architecture were followed as Vidyadhar followed them during his planning of Jaipur city.

The location of the garden is in such a place where it is a bit dry, and dessert type area. Because of the garden now there are many water courses that has given a total new look to the city. This garden with lot of greenery actually fills the mind of the people of Jaipur with peach and tranquility. It is located in a valley between two hills, which further adds a lot of natural beauty to it. Vidyadhar is filled with lots of colorful flowering plants, large trees which provide shade, and beautiful fountains. All these add to the beauty of the Vidyadhar Garden in the Majestic Jaipur city.
