Tourist Attraction in Barcelona
Barcelona has a number of places worth visiting. Besides the beaches and other routine tourist destinations, you also find some interesting places that are worth a visit.
Spanish Village:
Here you get to see different architectural designs at one place. The Spanish Village represents the different styles, right from Galicia and Basque to Aragon and Andalusia. This place has become popular, as it portrays a different sort of experience for the tourists.
Aquarium
This place is great, as it offers leisure and knowledge about the various species of underwater animals. There are as many as 35 fish tanks and nearly 450 different species of underwater animals. This is a unique and interesting place to visit, as it is the only oceanarium in the whole of Europe. The entire set up has been well designed that makes you feel like walking through the water and witnessing a total marine wonder. Not only does it allow you to see the fishes, but if you pay some amount, you could also go dive with them.
Zoo
It is supposed to be one of the top ranked zoos in Spain. It is situated inside the City Park and has many different animals. The zoo has open enclosures and so you could actually see the animals from very close quarters. You could in fact touch them and pat them. There is a separate zoo meant for the infants and there you could take your toddlers to make some lovely friends among the animals. There is also a mini train that takes you round the entire park. If you wish to take time to explore the area, then you could also opt for a buggy. If you go to this Zoo, one important animal that you must not miss is the albino gorilla, also known as snowflake. This is the only one left of the unique species in the whole world. There are other interesting species of birds, animals and reptiles too. This is the oldest zoo in entire Spain and supposed to be the most modern too. You could also spend some time watching the dolphin show and shaking hands with them.
Magic Fountain
This is located at spanish villas Montjuïc and was started in 1929, when the great exhibition took place in Spain. The fountain has light, music and also water and the show is timed in summer from Sunday to Thursday and in winters you could see them on Friday and Saturday.
