India Tourism- Diversity from Every Angle
India as known worldwide is the land of vast diversity in terms of culture, food, religion, education, sports and even beauty. Tourism in India is definitely one of the most exciting and thrilling experiences of one’s life. In the land of 28 states and 7 union territories you will never fall short of enthusiasm in the places to visit.
Although every state in India is special and has something to offer you from each category but still some of the most visited of them are Rajasthan, Kerela, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Goa and nearly the whole of eastern India. Starting from the north Jammu and Kashmir looks upon the country and holds the breath taking beauty wrapped in snow of Kashmir. Along with the extreme beauty and greenery of Kashmir it is famous for its arts and craft items which bring to you magic without illusion.
One of the highly famous works of this state is the embroidery work done on shawls and cloths. Wood carvings, textile work and Papier Mache are famous throughout the world and always attract the tourists. Papier Mache is one art form which has brought the state world renowned fame. The beauty of this art lies in making objects from paper and is highly tedious and long process.
Next overwhelming states to visit in India are Gujarat and Rajasthan. The latter holds and cherishes the history from the ancient Mughals and Rajputs reign. The state gives you the exact feel of the ancient times not only in the culture, but also the ambience, the food and even some of the restaurants and hotels. One will surely feel staying amidst the royal culture and living it with each passing moment. The various cities in Rajasthan like Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Chittaurgarh, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. Jaipur being the capital of the state is known as the pink city owing to the pink color that was done when Prince of Wales visited the city. Since then the color has been known as the second name for the city.
Further the state is known for its various types of dances like the ghoomer, gair, bhavai and chari. The dances take you down the ancient lane and are sure to mesmerize you with the colorful traditional outfits and the variety in the choreography with the perfect Indian touch.
Gujarat on the other hand, is one extremely famous for the traditional dance garba. The dance form comes directly and from the time of Lord Vishnu’s incarnation Krishna. This dance form again with the rich colored outfits, beats and speed will take you by surprise. Further the state holds great importance from the geographical view also. This importance gives the great benefits from the agricultural front and helps in generating revenue.
Goa, as the name must have been heard of is the land of fun, music and enjoyment. One can be ready to let himself drown in the fun and frolic atmosphere of Goa. Moving further, southern India has all the greenery in the world where you will find yourself in the lap of pure and untouched nature.
