If you are looking for a perfect fun filled holiday, the one place you should consider visiting is Goa. Whatever be your definition of a vacation, a visit to Goa, which is all about excitement, adventure, party and food, is never disappointing. Besides beaches, there are several other tourist attractions that Goa is famous for. Goa tours are always fun filled and full of activity.

Goa has some of the best beaches in the country. However, those are not all that Goa offers. There are a whole lot of things to pep up your holiday when you choose to experience Goa tourism. Tourists visit this state from all over the world and have a great time indulging in a Goa tour. When you visit this thriving state, you are sure to enjoy your stay in the hotels in Goa, besides enjoying a whole lot of activities and visual treats that Goa has to offer.

If you want to have a glimpse of the work of various artisans, you can make a visit to the open house museum by the name Big Foot. If you have always wanted to check out the ancient life and living methods of rural Goans, this is the only place for you. Check out the Arvalam waterfalls for scenic beauty and greenery. Another major tourist attraction in Goa tour is the Alorna Fort, situated at a little distance from Mapusa. The wax museum and vintage car museum are also excellent sightseeing spots. When in Goa, book into some eco friendly resorts. These hotels in Goa offer a great holiday experience.

Best beaches of Goa are the Dona Paula Beach, Hansa Beach, Carmona Beach and Benaulim Beach. In between visiting places, if you want to get adventurous by playing some sports, you can try your hand at kite surfing, catamaran sailing, diving, parasailing, jet skiing, water skiing and so many other adrenaline pumping activities.

Local residents here are very down to earth; they are very chilled out by nature. If you happen to visit during any of the festivals or zatras, as they are called in Goa, you are sure to witness the state in its full glory. With so many places to visit and so much to do, Goa Tourism attracts lakhs tourists every year. No wonder that tourism is acknowledged as a major contributor to the state’s economy.

Most of the above mentioned are the most common places , which are a part of a standard Goa tourism package. However, there is a lot more of Goa which most of the tourists do not get o visit during their Goa tour. One such place is the Loutolim. Other than the Big Foot, this place showcases an ancestral house and other miniature form of houses which depicts the occupation of various rural local people. It has a spice farm and a feni distillery. There is a Sant Mirabai statue as well. Amthane Dam is being developed to attract more and more tourists. It is located close to Mapusa.

Hotels here provide a lot of entertainment. The music form of Jazz is fast emerging in the hotels in Goa. The Saturday night market at Arpora is also a favorable spot for you, if you want to witness people enjoying jazz music.

The place has so much to offer that a large number of tourists who visit are not first time visitors. They keep flocking again and again to explore those parts of Goa which they could not explore in their earlier visit.
