According to the legend, Jesuits discovered a very delicious variety of Goa toddy on Majorda beach. They used the toddy to make the bread, as a result of which, the bread had a very interesting and delicious taste. The bread attracted people from far and wide. Nobody mixes toddy to make bread in Majorda beach any longer. However, the taste of those breads is supposed to linger on the beach and make the present ones very delicious.
