The seven wonders of world fancies travelers from a long time. Built at different points of time at different places the seven wonders is the materialization of some great dream, some great skill and above all some great labor. Each of this is a man made master piece in it. People residing in every nook and corner of this world are thoroughly fascinated by these manmade wonders and have recently rated them as the new seven wonders of world. The organization took initiative in conducting a global contest on internet to find the new Seven Wonders of the World. More than 100 million people participated in this internet poll and finally on July 7th on 2007 the election results were declared and the new seven wonders of world were announced.
Chichen Itza the most important religious center of Mayan culture with its square shaped central pyramid is one of the seven wonders. It is known for its amazing architecture and unusual beauty throughout the world. This pyramid is about 75 feet in height.
Christ Redeemer placed at top of Corcovado Mountain is about 38 meters in height and has a chapel at its base. This monument of Christ with his open arms signifies that Christ loves all.
The Great Wall of China is the only monument on this planet which is visible from moon. This monument was also included in the seven medieval wonders of the world and now has registered itself in the new seven wonders too because of its unusual architecture and beauty.
Machu Picchu is the most famous citadel of the Incas. It is the considered as the main archeological site of America which is situated at the height of 2438 meters above sea level.
Petra in Jordan is considered to be one of the greatest wonders worked by nature and man as it has more than 800 individual monument building, tombs, baths, funeral, corridors, temples, arched income and adjacent streets.
Roman Colosseum is remarkable Roman architecture and engineering which together combined and formed a beautiful elliptical amphitheater.
Last but not the least Taj Mahal, which was built by Mugal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, This monument portrays immense love towards his wife and is also known as epitome of love.
