Climate of Budapest

Summers are quite warm with plenty of sunshine. Daytime temperature can be around 40.0 degree centigrade while it is approximately 25.0 during the night. Winter season is cool but temperature hardly falls below freezing point. Snowfall is occasional.

Transport facility

This capital city is well connected through air, road, rail, and water. Liszt Ferenc is the international airport that features for flights to several international destinations. Don’t underestimate the waterway. Danube connects to the Black Sea. This allows for water transportation to several international destinations. Rail and road facilities are mostly used for national transportation purpose.

Local attractions

Buda Castle: Also known as Royal Castle, this castle was built during the 13th century. It was declared World Heritage Site b UNESCO in the year 1987.

Vajdahunyad Castle: It was developed during the latter part of 19th century. Presently, it acts as an agricultural museum.

Great Synagogue: Constructed during the mid-19th century, this synagogue is largest within European continent.

St. Stephen’s Basilica: Construction of this historical structure got completed in the year 1905. It is one of the largest churches in Hungary.

Some other notable attractions include Heroes Square, St. Elizabeth Church, Fisherman’s Bastion, Széchenyi Chain Bridge, Vigadó, Liberty Bridge, and National Museum.
