We may have built cloud kissing buildings and developed big apartments in the modern cities, but the lap of Mother Nature is the utopia for every one of us. The tranquility in the lap of nature makes us feel connected to the ethereal world. In India, there are several destinations that can be an ideal place for you if you are planning a wildlife tour to India. Mother Nature has blessed this country with some of the unique species of animals and birds that you can view in different wildlife sanctuaries located in different parts of India.

Indian tigers are famous worldwide for their valorous appeal. The Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the best tiger reserves in the world. This part of central India also bears witness to its thousands of years old existence. It is in Madhya Pradesh only that you will get another ménage of the wild residents- Kanha National Park. Booking a wildlife vacation package in the central part of this country would surely be a beneficial deal for you. The hotels and resorts in these national parks are theme based where the spirit of jungle is well preserved and maintained.

Home to the unique one horned rhinoceros, Kaziranga National Park in Assam is another heaven for the nature lovers. Stretched in a wide area, this national park gives shelter to a host of wild animals. The resorts and lodges in Kaziranga not only makes you feel the thrill of being into a jungle safari, but presents before you the rich cultural heritage of the state of Assam. You can also visit different temples and historical monuments during your stay in this abode of Mother Nature.

Located in the lofty foothills of the Himalayan Mountains, Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest reserves in India. The park is named after the British hunter and naturalist Edward James Jim Corbett who got worldwide fame for slaying down man eating tigers in India. This reserve is an ideal place for the wild photographers as it is densely populated by colorful birds, valorous animals, unique species of plants and insects.

Kerala is considered to be one of the most romantic destinations in India. But this state in the south Indian province is also a buzzing wildlife vacation destination. The Nilgiri Langur, Nilgiri Tahr, Tigers and elephants are the main attractions of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerala. Surrounded by the backwaters and coconut groves, Kerala is a good match for every excursion; wildlife, romantic, family or cultural vacations.

Gir National Park in Gujarat is the only remaining habitat of the Asiatic Lions popularly known as ‘Babbar Sher’. Your thrill mounts to the pick as you hear the roaring of this Babbar Sher in the jungles of Sasan Gir. Throughout the year, this sanctuary is populated by the tourists from around the world. Thus a number of luxury jungle resorts have been sprouted in the vicinity of Sasan Gir.

No matter which wildlife destination you choose from the long list, every destination has different surprises ready for you. A wildlife tour package, which is well managed, will make you feel the thrill of the wild. Spending the vacation time in the lap of nature and taking away the memories of these adventurous tours by means of clicks, is probably the best gift that you can give to yourself and your loved ones.
