Ibiza town on Ibiza Island is an impressive town located by the sea and on a hill making it the more interesting. It has fortifications for its surrounding giving it that unique impressive ambience. You will find numerous stands, shops and very narrow lanes. The shops and stand provide a great place for you to get all the souvenirs that you need as well as other fashionable accessories. It is a town that has an easy feel to it and you will enjoy the time you spend here.

Town Quarter: it is one of the places you cannot miss to enjoy. Barrio de La Penya y de la Bomba is next to the town walls and can be termed as the pulsating life of Ibiza. It is where entertainment comes to life and you will have the chance to try out different things while here. It is a very colorful and typical quarter.

D’alt Villa: it is the historical center of Ibiza and definitely worth visiting and enjoying. It sits on a hilltop and has town walls as enclosure. Within this center are numerous monuments which will make your tour or holiday most enjoyable.

Cathedral: it is another feature which cannot be missed while in the town. The 10th – 18th century gothic tower has lots of historical value. You will find most amazing the Renaissance, Baroque and Gothic artworks in the interior part. It is a major attraction of the town.

Punic Art Museum: this museum is open most of the time and it is the best Punic art museum in Europe. It is therefore a major attraction of the city. Punic necropolis which is located on the basement or under this museum is interesting and is accessible.

The Archaeological Museum: within this museum you will find different objects exposition. Some of the objects found here are from the pre historic time down to the 16th century thereby making the museum one of the most important of the town and island.

These are some of the things that you can enjoy when taking a break from the splendid beaches of Ibiza. The town is famed and you will find huge numbers of tourist here enjoying the various things that it has to offer. It is a town which is bound to offer you the best kind of experience away from the fun filled sandy beaches which are adorable in every sense.
