Exploring Spain by road; ride from Avila to Segovia

For all those travelers out there who want to experience an aura of gothic and renaissance centuries, Central Spain is the place for you. Ávila de los Caballeros" is a Spanish city located in the autonomous community of Castile and León. It is famous for its Cathedral of Ávila and Apse of the Cathedral.

Cathedral of Avila can be visited by public transports operating in Spain, however to explore true relics of age old Spanish culture it is advisable to visit the city with a rental car. Segovia and its Aqueduct were declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1985. Within old city, stand diversity of historic buildings both civil and religious, not just Catholics but also Jews. The famous church of Corpus, and the Jewish cemetery located in "El Pinarillo” is the most important Jewish palace of the Spanish aljamas.

The Aqueduct of Segovia, located in the emblematic Plaza del Azoguejo, (well connected to avail alqulier de coach’s services) is attached to the city. The date of its construction is estimated at the end of the 1st century or early 2nd century, makes it the best of roman civil engineering work. It is said that about 25,000 granite blocks were put together without any mortar to build this 818 meters tall construction.
