Why Look for an A320 Captain Job?
As children we all have dreams about what we would like to be when we grow up and the lucky ones among us actually achieve those dreams. For many people, those dreams fall by the wayside as they take other paths through life. Of course some of these dreams that children have are totally outside the realms of probability, for example how many girls will end up as a princess, or boys as an astronauts? However other dreams are totally possible, among them having an A320 captain job. As a child I always wanted to fly and I was sensible enough to know that it was never going to be with my own wings, so from early on I made choices which would lead me to a career in the skies.
The whole world of aviation has always fascinated me and made me want to be among the elite group of people whom are respected and looked up to as being responsible and brave. I never wanted to be just a part of the cabin crew and so decided to work hard and fulfil my dream of becoming a pilot. It has not been an easy road and there have been many sacrifices made along the way, both by myself and my family but now I am have a very fulfilling and successful life and am an A320 captain job in Europe.
I love the whole adrenaline rush of flying and the sense of achievement you get when you know that you have done a good job, and even though you know that it is just a part of your everyday routine, you still feel a thrill when somebody says thank you or well done. The job is demanding both physically and mentally and by the end of you r shift you are absolutely exhausted, but there is no better feeling than that of having safely completed another flight with no problems.
The A320 is one of the safest ways to fly and there are 355 of them in use, with a great safety record. The first one was built in 1998 and was a good competition for the old Boeings. Since then the plane with the best accident free record is the Airbus 340, with the A320 coming in close to the top of the list also. There are many things to be afraid of in this world and one of them is flying.
The fear of flying is a common one and a lot of people never overcome it and so miss out on one of the greatest experiences a human can feel. Whether it is a normal flight from destination A to destination B, or the more luxurious hot air balloon flight at sunrise over the mountains, there is a sense of wonder and awe that comes from having defied gravity and having an A320 captain job, I can experience these on a daily level. Thankfully I am still able to marvel at the miracle of flying.
