Although marketing is important to all types of businesses, big and small businesses will likely carry out their marketing campaign differently. The primary difference between these two types of businesses is the budget. Small businesses don’t often have the same budget as big businesses. However, marketing can still be done effectively even when on limited funds. From social media to business cards and flyers, there are plenty of choices in marketing materials these days that will help a small business owner to put their business in front of people. 1) Build good relationships with your customers. Make them feel special and valuable to you. This way they will stay loyal to your business. You don’t have to spend thousands of bucks to do this. Even simple greeting cards or postcards will be enough to show them that you remember them.

2) Don’t forget about your existing customers. Don’t just focus on generating new customers all the time. It’s still important that you take care of your existing customers. Hopefully, at the end of the event you already have possible customers willing to get in touch with you in the soonest time possible.

4) Never promote like the big businesses. Remember that you don’t have the financial capability of big businesses. It will be best if you focus on your own capability instead of trying to imitate what the big guys are doing. This way, you can give your business better and more effective promotion.

5) Provide special offer to entice your target customers. An irresistible offer or discount never fails to encourage people to take action right away. If you can include promos, rewards, freebies, and price cuts on your marketing materials, you are sure to encourage new customers to buy and even your old customers to buy again.

6) Be as creative as you want. The more creative and unique your materials look the more they will look noticeable. This is your chance to let your creative juices flowing. Put on your thinking cap so you can come up with the perfect materials for your marketing campaign.
