UK Ancestry Visa and Work Permit UK

UK ancestry visa allows you to stay in United Kingdom for 5 years and you must intend to work and at the end of 5 years you may apply for permanent residency. Your spouse and dependant children below the age of 18 years can accompany you to the UK as long as you can support them without needing help fro public funds. You have a grandparent who was born in the UK, the channel island or the Isle of Man

You have a grandparent who was born in what is now the republic of Ireland before 31st march 1922

You are able to work and you intend to do so in the UK

You can support yourself and any dependant without needing help from public funds.

You must have the following documents to qualify for UK ancestry visa:

Your full birth certificate

Your parent and grand parent marriage certificate and legal adoption papers if you or your parents are adopted.

The full birth certificate of the parent and grandparent through whose ancestry you are applying.

Your marriage certificate or civil partnership registration documents, if your husband, wife or civil partnership intends to join you in the UK.

Work permit UK allow you to work in the UK if you are not a part of the European Economic Area EEA. Only an employer can apply for a work permit on your behalf. A work permit shows that you are legally entitled to take up employment. In order to get one specific employee, a prospective employer must actually be able to give reasons why you have not been able to recruit on the local market, have advertised the post nationally, show that not talent could be found locally and meet any locally applicable salary or labor standards requirements.
