Tourist Guide to Benidorm - Spain

Benidorm is a popular resort in the Mediterranean region, popular among tourists from across the world. The city was known as a small fishing village in 1950 and it took the city almost ten years to develop into what it is today - the city of Benidorm is now full of modern facilities, resorts, leisure opportunities and entertainment. Benidorm has large number of skyscrapers and you simply cannot imagine the number of entertainment and leisure facilities available here. Every year hundreds and millions of tourists from various parts of the world visit Benidorm to enjoy the nightlife activities and the high quality beaches available here.

Playa de Poiente and Playa de Levante are the two biggest beaches in Benidorm and these two beaches are separated from each other by a rock called the “Balcony of the Mediterranean.” From above this top of this rock formation you can enjoy some best views of the sea and port. Both these beaches are very wide and sandy and the quality of cleanliness is very high here. These beaches are all surrounded by palm trees and you can also enjoy the food and drinks in the number of cafes and restaurants in the promenade along the beach.

These two beaches have continuously been winning the Blue Flag Award given by the European Union on account of their neatness and the availability of some great extraordinary services. Cala Mal Pas is the small bay located between these beaches and this bay has some beautiful golden sand and you can enjoy nature here without much crowd. In front of the beaches and bay, Benidorm Island is located, which is the best site for divers as you can enjoy some beautiful marine world here. You can also take the ship from Benidorm for the islands of Santa Pola and Tabarca.

Night Life in Benidorm

Benidorm is known for its vibrant nightlife and the entertainment here is non-stop during the night. The area is packed with a number of bars, cafes, pubs, restaurants and night clubs and the city has every kind of facility for all ages. You can enjoy the music of your own choice including Jazz and hip-hop.

Parks in Benidorm

Benidorm has some good quality leisure and theme parks including Acqualandia which is a big water park, Terra Mitica which is among the biggest theme parks in villa spanien and Mundomar which is devoted to the preservation of sea animals like dolphins.
