•Akal Wood Fossil Park, which is literally fossilized remains of 180 million year old forests, which is an interesting spot to visit during Jaisalmer travel.

•Gadisar Lake which lies south of the city walls, once supplying water to the entire city of Jaisalmer, which is surrounded by small temples and shrines.
