Software 101: a Tool for Creating a Worldwide Contest

If you’re given the task of creating and managing a worldwide contest, you will probably feel overwhelmed. How can you pull it off if you have to invite people from around the world to submit their entries, weigh them according to a set of standards, and create results in real time within reasonable cost? Fortunately, there are people who specialize in this, especially when they have three things that can make it happen.

The Software

Thanks to the Internet, it’s now possible to communicate with anyone around the world for an average of $30 a month or even less. No longer will folks like you incur huge phone bills for international calls or spend for mailing or shipping entries to other countries. There are people who create software to virtually automate tasks, cut costs, and increase efficiency. Better yet, the

Internet allows that software to be used anywhere anytime.

Assuming you have a set of contest details, there are software solutions allowing you to input them and create the online contest in a few clicks. Moreover, software solutions allow participants to submit their entries online, the results of which can be computed in real time.

The People

Running a contest locally is challenging enough, what more if it is worldwide? Thankfully, there are people who specialize in creating and managing online contests. They know the challenges and issues inherent in each contest like ensuring the clarity of the rules, receiving contest entries, and making sure the software runs smoothly. In a way, they live and breathe the management of online contests.

The people you’re looking for must be able to show their ability to manage the online business contest, preferably give a demonstration. It’s even better if you can check out their qualifications and learn about their achievements. These people should likewise keep you abreast on developments during the contest.

The Experience

Aside from easily showing their ability to manage their contest software, the people you hire must have the knowledge and experience in managing business competitions. They should know the nuances of one, such as analyzing data and reporting results in real time. As stated earlier, it helps if they can give a demonstration.

Finally, you need not worry about how to create an online contest on your own. It may cost you, but you’ll have peace of mind working with reliable award software to keep on top of your online contest. Read more about them at eHow.com and About.com.
