Cloud Computing Can Boost Sales Solutions

Cloud computing technology has been creating much consideration in today's IT environment as companies like to utilize their entire sales solutions in a prospective manner. Sales solutions are result oriented factors for any company but that may need push up to get outstanding configuration and hence cloud computing technology may give a confident push up in the entire sales figures as sources say.

Participating in an organization, founder and CEO, Rezopia, a U.S.-based cloud technology provider for travel companies Mr. Rakesh Hegde said with regard to cloud computing technologies and the USA business point of view, “All businesses, not just technology companies, can use cloud-based services as all companies can use cloud-based end-to-end travel reservation, contracts, operations, and distribution management system. Cloud-based services enabled businesses to focus on their core strengths by helping them do the peripheral tasks that trend in IT in the USA.

He further said, “In the USA, Salesforce.com, Marketo, and Workday were large, serious businesses that let smaller businesses manage their HR and payrolls using cloud-based services, for instance. So also was Mint, which was very popular in the US with people who used the website for managing their finances. NetFlicks.com was a company that completely relied on cloud infrastructure. People using it can get DVD movies for rent or see movies being screened. It has 24 million subscribers. Giving rental DVD movies on mail is serious business.”

Mr. Hegde said, "It eases up growing pains of a start up. The shifting mail services by a large company like Motorola to Google Apps shows a marked change of how large companies, which have distributed resources, across multiple locations, are favourable to cloud services. In fact, recession is making cloud more attractive. Rezopia idea came out of recession. When travel industry was suffering, we thought why make technology a big cost in that problem. Our software can actually save costs and in the same though process we said during recession if small and medium business models have to survive, they need larger technology at lesser cost. Recession is helping cloud than hurting it. We have to come up with a different model which interests Asians and working on it. Though infrastructure backbone (internet) is still a problem in India, companies are using cloud more than ever due to the cost factor. The other interesting fact is that there are lot of companies based in India like Dojo, Kayako which have existed as cloud offering for a while now and have been extremely successful.”
