Buying Property in Makkah Was Never So Easy As Government Offers More Concessions

Buying a property in Makkah is no more difficult now as the government of Saudi Arabia now gives concessions to people in providing stake ownership rights in most real estates in Makkah. Makkah or Mecca is a small city in Saudi Arabia. It is also the capital of Makkah province. The place is popular among the Muslim community for its holiness and sacredness since it is the birthplace of Prophet Muhammad and this is the place where the holy book 'Quran' was written and composed. A lot of devotees visit this place every year during Hajj period which falls in the twelfth Muslim lunar month of Dhual-Hijjah. According to the teachings of Islam every Muslim in his life conducts a pilgrimage known as Hajj to this place. Although non Muslims are not allowed to visit this place but the population of this city which is already 2 million increases as 15 million devotees visit this place every year regularly.

Makkah, the sacred city is located in a scant valley stretching the height of 277 m (909 ft) above sea level, 70 km in the interior of Jeddah. In todays modernized world, Mecca has almost lost some of its valuable archaeological sites due to significant growth in modern style of living and infrastructure. Although there are many hotels in the heart of Makkah, Saudi Arabia but finding an accommodation for oneself during Hajj and Ramadan can be an intimidating task. But one can buy property in Makkah to avoid such hassels.

Buying a property in Makkah is no more a challenging task now as the government of Saudi Arabia now gives more relaxation in laws and offers more concessions to potential buyers in providing shared ownership rights in some real estates in Makkah. Many apartment complexes have been introduced by the government where potential buyers can have ownership of an apartment in Makkah from a week to a whole year as per one's needs. Such appartements have mostly been constructed near the Haram Mosque of Makkah which is built around the Kaaba, the most sacred place in Islam; and other important Islamic holy sites less than 5 miles away.

Buying a property in Makkah comes with its share of benefits like one can listen all prayers - azan, iqama, the five daily prayers, jumaa khutba, eid khutba, taraweeh and tahajjud / qiyamullayl prayers directly. The volume can also be adjusted at one's wish. Potential buyers pay a monthly rent to the real estate companies offering such programme. Or one can completely own the property after they have made all the payments for that property. And once the property or an apartment has been bought by the person, the owner can rent it to generate income when he or she is not using it. In the rented rooms in Makkah one can expect all modern aminities and comforts in these apartments like separate living and dinning rooms, executive rooms, veritable international and Arabian cuisine, air-conditioned and carpeted seater prayer halls and marvelous views across the Holy Haram Mosque and Kaaba, famous on site shopping malls. According to the new law enforced by the government in 2007, the foreign investors can now buy property in Makkah and have been allowed certain liberties which were earlier denied like wholesale sales, import & export etc, which has also tremendously improved the real estate business and culture in Mecca.
