Use of Prescription glasses is quite common in these days. They are an excellent means of improving the vision of an individual. Actually, they cause many problems for us, which we are able to understand later. There are quick solutions to the problem but the underlying causes remain the same and unsolved. In the end, it may also happen that they become the source of more and more problems. Thus, you need to be aware of the disadvantages of using them.

Due to the wearing of the muscles, the eye muscles slowly become less effective. This happens, as the muscles are not used fully. In absence of the glasses, the eye muscles would have been used differently and this becomes the source of a lot of pressure for the muscles. Due to the continued pressure on the eye muscles, you need to visit doctor for another problem. Another problem associated with the use of Prescription glasses, that you become dependent on them. Your life becomes miserable without them as the more you use them; it becomes a certain necessity of your life.

The sphere of your vision is shortened by a great deal due to the use of prescription glasses. Your peripheral vision is hampered a lot. Certain activity like sports, driving a car where there is a need of having good side-ways vision is hindered. For this reason, you need to move continuously your head sideways, which in turn may lead to strains in your neck. Using the glasses may cause some other problems too. Though it is not a concern about your eyesight, using them may make someone less attractive than before. As they are used for a considerable period, the eyeballs become smaller and sink inside the socket. Last but not the least is the cost factor. A person may need to change glasses continuously and thus the cost increases.
