Majority of the camera batteries have a short lifespan and hence, to increase the longevity of these batteries, you need to keep certain tips in mind. Today, there are some cameras which use rechargeable batteries and others which use disposable batteries. The types of rechargeable batteries available today include lithium polymer batteries, nickel cadmium batteries and lithium ion batteries.. • Finally, if you are out for a shooting session and do not know how long the session will continue, it is advisable that you carry an extra battery with you so that you can charge the battery when the charge is totally exhausted and use the extra battery that you are carrying with you in order to continue with your shooting session.
