The agreement for such an account exclusively takes place between the account holder and a financial establishment like a bank. The bank is going to help in the processing of ach payment transaction for the account holder. Such a contract guarantees that the bank will recognize payment in any currency for its client for all the services or products provided by the merchant to his buyers.

The ach processing is meant for those merchants who are trying to widen up their business. They want to perform online business from in countries far and wide. Thus, the need of a financial organization becomes inevitable who will perform all the online transactions for the merchant. There are two types of merchant account related with ach processing. The first type is the one where the amount of risk is minimum. The businesses that are of low risk can use such an account. There is another type of account where the risk associated too high. These high risk merchant accounts are not maintained by few banks. This is because fraud cases are quite common in such issues and the bank has to bear all the loss.
