Kemer City Centre Things to Do
Kemer has developed into one of the most popular destinations in Turkey. This idyllic resort town draws a large number of tourists each year, to enjoy the sun, sea and sand. Not least of the reasons why this city has become so popular is the abundance of activities - from free activities, to guided tours, to adventurous sporting pursuits on the waters. Being a relatively small sized city, Kemer city centre is not far very from the ocean. Para sailing is a very popular choice and includes flights up to 100-300 metres above sea level. Kemer is not just a tourist resort; the town has a rich association with powerful cultures of the past. Visitors to Kemer can spend a great deal of time admiring and learning about the various artifacts of this varied history, with the city walls and Hadrian Gate (in Antalya) providing evidence for the Roman influence. Many religious and cultural older buildings are dotted about the city, such as minarets and mosques.
