Wireless Bridges Connecting Networks
Communication is the most important aspect of any deal, be it personal or professional. In fact, relationship too breaks down mostly for lack of communication or due to any kind of misunderstandings developed by communication gap. Saying the right word and acting accordingly does set right everything. When two persons are involved mostly phone is the best option for communication, however, when the users are many and receivers too then the usage of technologies’ bliss – wireless bridges steps in.
It is one instrument which allows two networks of users to connect when in the same building and that too without being connected by wires. Better still, if they are in two different building, they can still be connected. Moreover, with proper antennas and line of sight bridges, the network can be connected even when at a distance of 20 to 25 miles.
The connection of two networks while being in two different locations is known as the Point to Point Wireless Bridge. This kind of network is achieved by having wireless bridges being set in each of the source buildings. There is one more form of connectivity, that is, multiple point connectivity. Even though there are more than two networks involved, but in this case, all the data that inter passed must first go through the main head and then to the other.
It may be noted that even though the set up structure of the network sounds easy, but it is a job best done by a skilled installer. This may sound simple to configure, but it involves a lot of work, ranging from installing poles, towers, running cables, in some cases antennas are needed and configuration of radios and the like. So, there is a fair amount of technical expertise that is needed for one to set up the wireless structure, so it is best done by a professional.
