The Various Uses of Rubber Bellows

The concept of bellows is not new. Even in ancient times, when there were no cooking gas, foods were cooked in simmering coal and other dry fuels. These were used to generate heat to expedite the process of cooking. . Today also this method is used in the villages of many countries. It is basically a device designed to deliver pressurized air to a specific point. The location and the pressure both are controlled by the used and it is very easy to use. The rubber bellows are used in machineries to deliver pressurized air.

The composition of the bellow is simple but the work it does is important. It is made of two parts; a valve and a nozzle. The valve is a container which is deformable and can be deformed from outside using pressure of hands or machine parts when used in motor. There is a vent in the valve through which the air comes in and then the pressure is applied on the valve that indirectly applies pressure on the air in it. As a result the air flows out of the nozzle and as the space it less it flows in great speed and pressure.

Rubber bellows are used more in any sector because of its flexibility and easy availability. They can be made of different types of rubber, mostly recycled rubber. It can be deformed in any possible way and thus the pressure generated on the air is stronger. These bellows are easy to operate and in many cases they are made of heat resistant rubber. They are generally used in inflating things easily and in many types of machinery. There can be frame to give support to this very effective tool.
