Dr. Chris Tomshack Combines Business with Care

Dr. Chris Tomshack is the founder and CEO of HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab. His educational background includes graduating with honors from Ohio University with a Bachelor's of Business Adminstration. He then attended the University of Toledo where he pursued an MBA in addition to working as a teaching assistant in their marketing department.

Following his time at the University of Toledo, Dr. Tomshack then enrolled in the Palmer College of Chiropractic where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Immediately following graduation he opened his chiropractic practice in Vermilion, Ohio. The initial startup for his practice was slow but using his business know how, Dr. Tomshack implemented core business principles that rocketed his practice to the top. It took hard work, planning and a commitment to unwavering standards and soon Dr. Tomshack found himself constantly in demand. He credits his success with his keen eye for business and intent focus on the patient's needs using progressive means for health and well-being. Dr. Tomshack also acknowledges the part his late father, Michael Tomshack, played in making HealthSource so successful. Michael Tomshack was a lifelong salesman, entrepreneur and manager.

At the age of 37, Dr. Tomshack retired from actively practicing in chiropractic care and started building multiple offices watching three more practices rocket to success. It was Dr. Tomshack's goal to see that people were getting the care they needed within the most progressive and professional environment.

Many of Dr. Tomshack's business principles and vision for HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab have come from his time studying a variety of industries always keeping a watchful eye for what worked best in each business and business model. His vision has always been to improve the way his offices are run with the goal of offering the best care to each patient.

Realizing that he had a successful combination of progressive treatment standards and business systems that were unmatched in chiropractic care, Dr. Tomshack began the steps of building a true franchise opportunity that would benefit other chiropractors and patients all across the nation.

HealthSource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab was launched in April of 2006. Since then it has become the fastest growing franchise business opportunity in chiropractic today, helping to build more than 300 hundred offices all across the country.
