Is filing for bankruptcy debt relief the best solution available? Or are there some other solutions also available? There are several other options available among which the most common one is debt settlement.
You need to keep it in mind that not all are provided with a bankruptcy status by the court. You can file it before the law, but that does not mean that the court will accept your filing and will tag you with “being bankrupt” status. There are several terms and conditions that need to be matched with the applicant’s present situation to avail this benefit status.
It is always a debatable issue: debt consolidation bankruptcy, or debt settlement. Which one is better to get rid of the troubles being faced with heavy loan repayment? In most of the cases, it is the debt consolidation or better to say some sort of settlement policies whichever works better.
But, what actually are loan settlement policies? When you have a heavy amount to get repaid and you’re face with massive difficulty in repaying it, then such policies come into consideration. A negotiation session between the creditor and debtor undergoes in order to adjust a particular repayment amount. The entire negotiation does not happen only through the word of mouth. The proper documents are necessary and that need to be duly signed by the credit authority. This will be a proof of their acceptance and once the entire negotiated amount is repaid, the creditor will provide a letter to the debtor, which will mention, “debts cleared” duly signed and stamped by the authority
