There will be nothing better than Kruger Safaris

It’s only when you go on one of the Kruger Park safaris that you realize what you have been missing all along. This is a totally different kind of experience. To begin with you get to stay in a place that brings out the best in the South African Lowveld. The environment is typical of what you’ve been reading, hearing and seeing about the South African hinterland all along. Out on the safari you’ll stay in a camp that is located in Nelspruit that is the capital of Mpumalanga right in the middle of the wilderness where you’ll get to see nature from up close.

There are all kinds of lodges to suit single travelers, the backpackers, families and students, hikers and campers besides South African sport groups. You will get a chance to see the Big Five, of course, but more than anything else you’ll also get a taste of the South African hospitality and the raw, sensuous feel of the awesome country.

You leave in the early hours and reach Kruger just in time to get a chance to see all the Big Five as well as the 140 odd mammals that are the denizens of the place. After the game spotting session there’s lunch at one of the scenic picnic spots in Kruger. More spotting is followed by a nap in the Lower Sabie Camp that’s supposed to be the best camp of Kruger. Evening consists of three hours of game drive which is followed by an all South African braai under African skies.

The second day’s highlights are a drive by the Small Drakenberg mountain range where the views are stunning besides Lisbon Falls, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Blyde Canyon that is the world’s third largest and one that is still growing. Besides this tour are the Elephant Trumpets Tour that is spread over three days and two nights and the Lion King Tour that packs in more comforts of life but is also spread over the same period. The last option of the flexi tours is the 8 day tour that will take you through bush country and three countries where your senses will be satiated.
