Kerala is one among of the ten paradises known on the surface of the earth. Kerala is located on the western side of India bordered by the Arabian Sea, Western Ghats, Maharashtra and the Karnataka. Synonyms with “God’s own Country” Kerala is bestowed with natural bounties all around the state. The enchanting Backwaters, exotic wildlife, pristine beaches, evergreen forests, verdant landscapes, picture perfect scenery and legendary houseboat constructs Kerala into a most sought after tourist destination in the country of incredible India.

Kerala tourism has a hand in preserving and maintaining the state tourism since ages. The first attraction of Kerala is Munnar, a hill station located in the Idukki District on the border of Tamil Nadu. Munnar is well known as “Kashmir of the South”. The lush green hills, misty mountains, cascading waterfalls, tea garden, national parks defines the true beauty of the hill station in the south. Munnar is a small place which can be easily explored on foot. The CSI church is the landmark of this scenic hill station. You can hire a motorbike to explore the neighbouring place of interest around Munnar. Breathe the fresh air of Munnar and cure your lung from the tannins and enjoy every moment because it’s not going to come back even if pay for it.

Explore Kerala, the Keralites way. Similar to “Do in Rome what the Romans Do”. The Backwater provides you with ample opportunities to disclose the secrets of Kerala in a traditional way. Opt for a houseboat and glide slowly on the Backwaters, the lifeline of Kerala. From the house boat the view of the jade paddy fields, dancing palm trees in the wind, mangroves, lagoons, touch of village life leaves you spell bound. Children waving at you from the banks of the Backwater are priceless site which draws a million dollar smile upon your scarlet lips.

A houseboat takes you to a tour to the major cities of Kerala which are deep connected by waterways. Alleppey, Cochin, Kollam, Kumarokom and Thiruvananthapuram are some of the fascinating backwater destinations of Kerala. A houseboat ride along the tranquil backwaters of Kerala is a phenomenal experience and no other place in the world gives you this experience, it’s one of a kind.

Kerala India tour is incomplete if you miss the beaches of Kerala. Kerala is renowned for its virgin beaches. The beaches in Kerala are of mesmerizing beauty. The unending miles of white sandy beaches, groves of coconut, warm friendly sun and crystal clear waters of the Arabian Sea makes your holiday worthwhile. The long rows of sun beds, big umbrellas, hammocks are the elements of leisure and you will find then neatly put in place on the beaches of Kovalam.
