Earlier 7 wonders of the ancient world were widely known for their remarkable construction of ancient times. The earliest known version of the list was assembled in 2nd century by Antipater of Sidon. But the official new 7 wonders of world were decided by more than 100 million votes casted to represent the global heritage throughout the history. This global contest was organized by the New 7 wonders foundation the brain child of Swiss filmmakers and museum curator Bernard Weber in order to protect humankind’s heritage across the globe. After the online poll was conducted the new 7 wonders were announced on 7th July 2007 in Lisbon, Portugal.

The Taj Mahal is catacomb located in Agra India is perfect example of Mugal architecture that combines elements from Persian, Turkish, Indian and Islamic architectural styles.
