Jinan City Centre Shopping
Many of the best shopping centres are in central Jinan, close to Spring City Road and Spring City Centre, but there are various different retail places to explore all over the city. You just need to know where to find them. You can be sure to find some decent places to shop near to any of the Jinan City Centre hotels.
There are many souvenir shops, market stalls and shopping centres to visit. Quancheng Lu is one of the best areas followed by, in no particular order, Renmin Shangchang, Daguan Yuan and the South Gate. Quancheng Lu has Jinan’s biggest shopping mall, called Guihe Shopping Centre, which has many top brand name outlets, as well as department stores and the Xinhua Book Store.
If markets are more to your taste, then the Luokou Clothes Market is highly recommended. It offers clothes and all sorts of accessories, ideal if you want to get a bargain. The biggest market selling antiques, books, calligraphy, paintings and other artwork is the Yingxiong Shan Culture Market.
Antiques experts and lovers will want to head for the Shandong Crafts Shop and Shandong Antique Shop.
An ideal place for tourists to pick up gifts and souvenirs to take back home is the Jinan Tourist Goods Shopping Center, with a wide veriety of different products for sale. Other great shopping centres include the Jinan Hualian Shopping Mall and the Silver Plaza Shopping Mall, so there are plenty of different stores and shopping areas to visit for a spot of retail therapy.
