The time table of Indian Railways is well established and monitored, covering almost 65000 km routes covering 7500 stations.

When you click on the ‘fare’ that appears, you are taken to another window in which you can see the ultimate amount you have to remit after considering the concessions etc. For instance, you will see 16688 Navyug Express Slip in the New Delhi –Madurai table, and when you click on ‘Navyug Express’ you will see below another screen appear giving the fare in Indian Rupees as 2129 and US dollars 48.

The portal ‘e-rail.in’ time table of Indian Railways is well structured and if you click an inappropriate figure or tab, it immediately gives a courteous feed back of your error, besides attending to your requirement is by pop ups and prompts.

Added facility in the digital Indian Railways time table is that when you click the ‘AV’ meaning availability, a pop up comes informing you the fare details, including those for senior citizens, male and female, besides normal tariff. Similarly, when you click ‘AV’ you are given berth availability details for the entire week.

Besides this basic information, the portal of Indian Railways time table also gives you a number of links and tables, including All India Rail Map, Fare table etc.
