Pallet racking is seen in most storage and distribution facilities. There are various types of pallet racking systems, and the most common is selective pallet racking. Selective pallet racking could be further split into two functions: the roll formed system, which can contain several product sizes because of its adjustability, and structural system, which is the same as the roll formed system but can carry bulkier loads.

For companies that want to save money on these systems, they can buy used pallet racking systems. Secondhand systems are equally as helpful as new ones, provided the appropriate safety procedures are followed. These may include never going beyond the optimum weight capacity of pallets, using appropriate equipment to stack pallets, and frequently conducting safety checks on the racking system.
