Foundation Stage and Its Learning

The British government has passed a provision in 2006 which primarily concerns the learning and development of infants. This provision states that each child from the age of 1 to 5 should be given the basic foundation knowledge about things like animals, birds, shapes and colours. So when their join primary school it becomes easy for them to understand things as well as what other people are saying to them. This is what we generally know as EYFS. During the Early Years it is necessary that each child undergoes the foundation stage at their own pace. Foundation stage and the learning in it have its own topics that need to be understood by children.

However, it has been seen that the learning of the Foundation Stage does not subsides easily. This is because the things that children learn during this stage are further taught to them in a very advanced and professional way when they join school during their early years. These days the techniques of learning has been so much modernised that it has become easy for both parents and teachers to teach the infant. Various resources are available in various attractive shapes, colours and designs. These resources are implemented to get the desired results. Both outdoor and indoor resources are use to educate the child as prescribed in the foundation stage. Recently it has been noticed through various effective surveys that indeed early years development are visible in child undergoing through the foundation.

If you are a proud parent, then it is necessary that you give a little more than interested in these various stages of child education, as this will help your child to cope up and learn things according to his own pace and style. He will have a better understanding and speaking capability about things.
