Being a Writer and What are the Steps to Become a Prolific Writer

Writers are considered to have charismatic enigma. They are able to write things and topics that are interesting and eye catching. So the questions that come to your mind are how to be a writer and what are the qualifications you need to be one. Well, to be a writer, there is no qualification required. The only thing you need to have is good language skills and well versed grammatical skills. These two are the magic formulas that could boost you to be a successful and famous writer.

You must know that being a writer is no walk in the park. You must have excellent creativity and imaginary skills. Creativity involves in making a dry subject interesting and readable. For having a good creativity, one's imaginary skills should be proficient. The thing that people assume is the definition of a writer. They think a writer is one who writes something on a piece of paper.

A person may write useless and rubbish things. Can that person be considered as a writer? No! Never! When people say writer, they mean professional writer, a published writer, and full-time writer. So you can say that a writer is one who writes articles, novels, and subjects that are meaningful and entertaining. They could be professionals who are quite versed in writing and have got their articles or novels published by various directories and publications. Even those people who earn their livelihood by writing articles 24/7 and get comments and feedback are also considered as writers.

Now if you are a writer, i.e. you have one of the above characteristics, you need to know what kind of writer you are. Are you a comedy writer? You know those writers who have a flair for comedy and humor. Their writing style will be unique and their articles will be filled with slapstick comedy situations and jokes that can put you at wits. Man! Such writers have a huge fan following and most of their readers will be from all age groups.

Next are fictional writers. These writers are known to write articles or stories that are fictional. The topic and situations will be imaginary and out of the bounds. In order to be such a writer, you need to be very much imaginative and your creativity skill should be par by excellent. These writers can make you engross in their greatly woven letters and sentences. They will make you believe in things and take you to another dimension.

Non fictional writers are those who write on natural subjects. They write about events and situations that could happen in the future or had happened in the past. Such writers research a lot and their articles and novels will be filled with minute details that you get hooked on their writing from the first line itself.

Many people like to read horror novels which not only give them a chill feeling in their spine but literally scares them. Horror novel writers are considered as creators as they create monsters and evil spirits. They give horrific features and characteristics to these monsters and spirits that at times we keep off from reading the rest of the article. Not because they are boring and dragging. It is because you get so scared and feel that such monsters and evil spirits are real and at any moment can attack you.

Mystery and Detective writers like to test the intellectual characteristic of a human mind. They try to make the reader get involved in the scene of crime and mystery that the reader just becomes fascinated and enthralled after reading the novel. To be such a writer, one must induce oneself to the extent of understanding the plot and scene of the crime.

So if you want to be a potentially good and recognized writer, try to read some articles and novels of other writers. See how they sketch out the words, sentences, situations. Think of how you could improve the details. Try to surf the web on your internet service provider like Verizon FiOS Internet and read articles and news reports to get a good grip and understanding of English grammar.
