Disk space: This is the known as the space on your own system's hard drive. Hosting provider will store a certain amount of space for your website, usually in Megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB). Make sure that how much you can store on your website.
Bandwidth: This is known as the amount of data that can be retrieved from your website. This is important to know when seeking a web hosts. Most of will usually offer unlimited bandwidth or they will state the total amount that can be used before subsequent charging will begin. If it is not unlimited, find out how much you get before charging begins.
There are Providers out there that offer free website creation, so you can get your website up right away without any technical knowledge. Once you have more knowledge under your belt then you can begin to build your own site to your specifications and needs.
