Paphos Things to Do
When you stay at hotels in Paphos, you’re absolutely guaranteed a fantastic holiday. The weather is some of the best in the Mediterranean, there are plenty of shopping opportunities, the nightlife is renowned for its diversity and there are numerous things to see and do during the day.
Stroll in the old town and have a fresh fish meal with a bottle of chilled local wine at a friendly taverna overlooking the harbour. Head for the award-winning beaches to sunbathe or take part in sports activities. Spend a day trekking in the Trodos Mountains. Shop till you drop. The choice is entirely yours and you’ll be truly spoilt here.
Many holiday destinations sound and look great in the brochures but once you get there, you’re disappointed to discover the place is not all it’s cracked up to be or that, although it’s all you expected, your choice of activities quickly runs dry. Not so in Paphos, where there’s so much going on day and night that your only problem will be fitting it all in.
From sunbathing or walking the numerous nature trails to exploring the historic town centre, rummaging around the markets and gift shops for local craft souvenirs and relaxing in bars and tavernas, your days will be packed.
And the sun going down isn’t so much a signal for everyone to head to bed, as for a whole new world to erupt, with bars, discos and clubs flinging open their doors. Nightlife in Paphos caters for all ages and tastes.
