In fact, the city had to pay heavily in past to inherit what it has today. Just visit to this wonderful land and you get a heady cocktail laced with royal legends that’s stiff enough to strike on even the prosiest of imaginations.

Here are some historical landmarks pertaining to the wealthy past of Jaipur City:

Amber Fort: Divine beauty of this grand structure will surely leave you mesmerized. Built by Raja Man Singh I in 1952, Amber Fort has a unique architectural beauty that combines both Hindu and Mughal architecture. This majestic fort was once the capital of Minas. It has many attractions including an ancient temple named as ‘Jal Mandir’ and a beautiful hall of mirrors called ‘Sheesh Mahal’. Mirrors in Sheesh Mahal are set artistically where even a tiny ray of light gets reflection in mirrors and lights up the entire hall blindingly. Besides this, colorful gardens, precious stones and royal paintings inside the forts are also worth exploring.

The City Palace: A tingling fusion of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, City Palace is one of the most alluring buildings which Jaipur could inherit. This legendary palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, and reflects an outstanding work of architecture. The complex has a series of courts, picturesque gardens and exclusive buildings which are simply awesome. Besides this, a number of impressive structures such as Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Place Museums are worth exploring if you’ve interest in history & cultures.

Hawa Mahal: Standing upright as the entrance to the City Palace, Hawa Mahal is an excellent instance of Rajputana architecture in Jaipur. Architectural design of this five-story palace is much more closure to Rajasthani culture, and also it offers the visitors with panoramic views of the city and surrounding areas. The pyramid shaped structure has 953 small windows which reflect superb architecture preferred by the royal families of Rajasthan.

Jaigarh Fort: Strategically nestled on the top of a hill, Jaigarh Fort is one of Jaipur’s most alluring historical destinations. The fort is well-connected to the Amber Fort that’s located just 400ft below at the bottom of the hill. It was built between 15th and 18th century to tighten the security of Jaipur. Visit to this magnetizing fort will let you explore picturesque views of hills and a great architectural beauty.

Apart from the above mentioned attractions, Nahargarh Fort, Jantar-Mantar, Statue Circle and Gaitor are some other places of tourists’ interest. When you’re on a Jaipur tour, these destinations will give you a feel of royalty the city is famous for. When it comes to plan a Jaipur travel, professional help from a reliable tour agent always make a remarkable difference.
