H1 b Visa and US Citizenship and Immigration services
H1 b visa allow USA employers to employ foreign workers to work in a specialty occupations and to file a petition with US citizenship and immigration service requesting for national foreign workers. The temporary professional visa allows professional to enter the United States and accept temporary employment within their profession. This visa is often utilized by engineers, professors, researchers, computer scientist and other professional to gain work experience in the United States while receiving a professional income.
It is a temporary visa for up to a total stay of 6 years. Spouses and dependant children are allowed to accompany the holder to the United States for the duration of the H-1b visa holder and they are allowed to attend school. You can work for 2 employers during the same period. Bachelor’s higher degree or its equivalent and the degree requirements for the job is common to the industry and can be performed only by an individual with a degree.
The employer normally requires a degree or its equivalent for the position and the nature and specific duties is so specialized and complex that the knowledge requires to perform the duties is usually associated with a degree.
To qualify as a specialty occupation you must meet the following:
• Have completed a US bachelor degree required by the specialty occupation from an accredited college or university.
• Hold a foreign degree that is equivalent to a US bachelor degree or higher degree
• Hold an unrestricted state license, registration or certification which authorizes you to fully practice and be engaged in that specialty employment.
• Have training or progressively responsible experience in the specialty that is equivalent to the completion of having recognition.
US citizenship and immigration services provides immigration benefits to people who are entitled to stay in the US on a temporary or permanent basis. It process granting of a U.S citizenship to those who are eligible to naturalize, authorize individuals to reside in the US on a permanent basis and providing aliens with the eligibility to work in the United State
