Although a tiny state, Goa has plenty to offer for tourists of all types, what with its many beaches, world famous churches, temples and nature's attraction in the form of waterfalls and wildlife sanctuaries. Goa is very conveniently accessible from all parts of the world and has manifested itself into a major international tourism hub.

Goa is synonymous with tourism. With its many beaches, churches, temples and other interesting places, Goa has everything a tourist wants. All these brilliant attractions are included in Goa packages, so that a tourist can choose a package and visit every spot. Although it is a small state, Goa tour packages cater to the tastes and preferences of every type of tourist. From the tourism angle, Goa is divided in to North, Central and South Goa. Overnight staying at any of these regions will not be a problem as hotels in Goa are found in every nook and corner of the state.

Goa has 105 km of coast line which is dotted with beautiful beaches. This is one major reason why tourists flock Goa. Among the many beaches, Baga, Anjuna, Calangute, Miramar and Dona Paula beaches are popular in North Goa while in South Goa, Bogmalo, Majorda, Colva and Palolem are more popular and always crowded with tourists. Morjim beach is where Olive Ridley Turtles come to the shore to nest eggs. Almost all Goa packages take tourists to all these beaches as part of conducted tours.

On the religious and spiritual front, Goa is not lacking in important places. Basilica of Bom Jesus is the most visited church in Goa. It houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier in a silver casket. The church, built in the 16th century, has been declared a World Heritage Monument by UNESCO. Se Cathedral is another famous church. The main attraction of this church is its five bells including 'Golden bell', which is one of the best in the world. These churches are a must see in the program list of all Goa tour packages. Other than these two, other churches which tourists must see are Church of St.Francis, St.Cajetan Church, Church of Our Lady of Rosary and Nunnery of Santa Monica.

Famous temples in Goa include Shree Mahalasa, Shree Mangesh and Shree Mahalaxmi which are revered by Hindu devotees all over the country. Apart from these famous temples, there are many lesser known temples in Goa which a tourist with a religious bent of mind can visit.

Interior Goa has dense forests and is house for many wildlife species. Goa has many wildlife sanctuaries and parks which house various species of wild animals and reptiles. Famous among these are Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary renowned for varieties of birds, Mollem Wildlife Sanctuary, Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary, Mahadeyi Wildlife Sanctuary and Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary. Many of these sanctuaries are included in Goa packages.

Because of the hilly terrain Goa has stunning waterfalls cascading down the rocks. Some of them are easily accessed whereas a few others are deep inside thick forests. Two famous falls which are included in all Goa tour packages are Dudhsagar falls and Arvalem falls. You can have a beautiful view of the Dudhsagar falls while travelling by train because the train takes a U-turn in front of the falls. It is a breathtaking site.

Many of the hotels in Goa have their own private beaches. There is no dearth of hotels and a tourist does not have any worry about accommodation. Hotels in Goa cater to all types of tourists, starting from budget class to luxury accommodation.
