Wildlife Safari Tour to Bandhavgarh and Ranthambore

The diversity of landscape and climate in India creates suitable conditions for a wide variety of flora and fauna and this is the reason that India an over a thousand wildlife sanctuaries and national parks. Some of them are very famous and are known to the people internationally for the rare species of plants and animals that they house.

Wildlife Safari in India is very popular and the tours are managed by well trained and informed experts who help the tourists to make the best use of their experience. They are trained to keep the tours enjoyable, safe and adventurous.

There are many national parks and national parks in India that offer wildlife tours and safari but some of the most adventurous and interesting of them are offered in the Central India. The two of the most prominent wildlife reserves in central India are Bandhavgarh and Ranthambore.

Tour to Bandhavgarh

Banhavgarh is known for its steep ridges and undulating hills that are covered with thick forests. It was the hunting area of the former king of the region and is famous for its white tigers. The tiger population in the Bandhavgarh is one of the highest in India. It is also known for its very diverse flora and a range of avifauna.

It is the home of around 250 species of birds, 70 species of buteterflies and contless number of reptiles. The vegetation consists mainly of the sal trees. Some of the other important animals that can be found here are Langurs, Sloth bear, spotted dear, wild boar, Leopard and Bison. It is also known as a great centre for bird watchers. During the season of migration some very rare species can be found.

Safari in Ranthambore

The Ranthambore National Park is located in the Sawai madhopur district in east central India. The district also houses some of the oldest rugged and rough aravalli hills on its way. Spread over an area of around 400 km sq. the Ranthambore national park is one of chief wildlife reserves in the country and is one of the most famous places in the world to witness the freely roaming Bengal tigers. They can be easily seen during the day. Besides this, the national park is also home to around 40 different species of mammals, 320 species of birds which also includes the migratory birds and 35 reptile species.

Both the Ranthambore and Bandhavgarh are easily accessible through rail, road and air routes.
