Estepona is a Wonderful Coastal City

Estepona is a wonderful coastal city, situated in the Southern part of Spain. It is a very famous tourist destination because of the huge coastline. It is a very well maintained place. There are a lot of tourist attractions here. Hence, anyone who comes here for a vacation has a wonderful time. This place is also very hygienic. It has a mix of the Arabic, Roman and the Phoenician culture.


Many tourists visit this place mainly because of the beaches in the town. The La Rada beach is a very famous one. There are a lot of other beaches. The beaches here are mostly sandy. Most of the beaches here have been awarded the blue flag. Blue flag award is only for those beaches that are well- maintained and are very hygienic. There are many facilities available on the beach like sun beds, rooms to change, bars and restaurants. One can also try out the water sports and other activities offered on the beach.


There are a lot of churches and towers in this city which have an intriguing past. Those with archeological interest will find these churches and towers very interesting. The monuments are a good inclusion in itinerary for sightseeing. There are some towers where musical concerts are held.


The festivals here are very similar to the ones in Andalucía. This town celebrates a good number of festivals. The main festival here is the Feria and this is celebrated in the mid of August.


There are many parks in Estepona where one can relax and enjoy. The Flores Park is very famous. There are also parks along the coastline of the La Rada where one can sit and enjoy. The landscapes of the parks are amazing.

Restaurants and bars

There are quite a few restaurants and bars in the town. The cuisine that is offered here is mostly Mediterranean. Local Spanish cuisine is not available widely. However, this town does not have an active nightlife. There are no night clubs here. This town does not have the night club culture. Most of the restaurants can be found along the coastline.


There are a lot of local markets in Estepona where one can purchase the local products. However, at the centre of the main area of the town, one can see many boutiques from where you can purchase modern outfits and other international stuff.
