The West Highland Way is a well known long distance footpath in Scotland which runs for 96 miles, and the path is one of the best known routes in the whole of the UK, attracting tens of thousands people each year. The West Highland Way runs from Milngavie to Fort William and combines walks on ancient roads with hillier parts, making it a great walk for people of all different ages and abilities.

Milngavie can easily be reached by train by Glasgow, making it a good spot to visit for people travelling from all over the UK.
