Never Give Up on Arsenal

By Vicky Joseph Subscribe to RSS | January 20th 2012 | Views:

After a disastrous end of season for Arsenal, many fans lost hope and were bitterly disappointed on the team and the players which were very agreeable. To make even matters worse, Arsenal lost two world class players, Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona and Samir Nasri to Manchester City at the start of the season hence giving the responsibility and the burden of captaincy to the only player remaining who has won a medal in Arsenal colors Robin Van Persie. The big guns started the season extremely poorly where they ended after losing against Liverpool at home and being thumped embarrassingly at the theater of dreams against Manchester United.

That is the time, when Arsene Wenger realized he needed to do some heavy spending if he wants his team to stay in the top four and challenge for the Barclays Premer League crown. Wenger added five players on the deadline day who were, Mertesacker, Ju Yong Park, Benayoun, Arteta and Andre Santos. After purchasing 5 experienced players, that is when the turning point for the gunners started, theystarted winning most of their games both in the English Premier League as well in the UEFA Champions League where they are only three points away from succeeding qualification. Arsenal has also qualified in the quarter finals of the Carling cup for the ninth successive season.

But there is only one man who is responsible for resurrecting the Gunners team and that is the striker Robin Van Persie. After the selling of Fabregas and Nasri, he has not only captained his side but also motivated and once again increased the morale of the team. At the start of the season, Arsenal was in shambles. To be even honest, most of the assistant managers of the club and even most of the players had already lost hope that, Arsenal are no longer the contenders of the Barclays Premier League but after a thrilling win against Chelsea and marking their first away win of the season shows that Arsenal is back in business. The team has climbed up the log from thirteenth to seventh in just a few weeks.

This basically is a message to all the diehard fans of Arsenal that no matter how the clubs started poorly but never ever give up on the team you love. There is still a long way to go in the season yet and I will not be surprised if Arsenal can surely win some silverware this season. They have already showed us what quality they have. Arsenal was surely lost for a while but Robin Van Persie has brought Arsenal and they are ready to give us some treat in all competitions respectively. For all the Arsenal fans and football lovers, if you want to see the Arsenal team once again and see the Dutch Striker showing his magic touch and bamboozling us from our seats, you can stream all the football matches and enjoy every moment of the game.
